The Righteous King Reigns in Glory and Power

**The Reign of the Righteous King**

The earth trembled beneath the weight of glory as the Lord Almighty took His throne. The heavens roared with thunder, and dark clouds swirled around Him like a mighty fortress. Flames of fire blazed before Him, consuming all unrighteousness in their path. Lightning split the sky, illuminating the vast expanse of the earth, revealing every hidden corner where darkness had once lurked. The mountains, ancient and unshaken, melted like wax before His presence, for the Lord was King over all creation.

The nations bowed low, their idols shattered into dust. The false gods of wood and stone, crafted by human hands, crumbled into nothingness, for they could not stand before the One who spoke the world into being. The people who had once worshipped them now covered their faces in shame, realizing the folly of their ways. But those who loved the Lord rejoiced, for His judgment was true, and His righteousness shone brighter than the noonday sun.

Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah sang for joy, their voices rising like a mighty chorus, for the Lord Most High had vindicated His people. His light had dawned upon them, piercing the deepest shadows, bringing deliverance to the oppressed and justice to the downtrodden. The wicked schemed in secret, but their plans withered like grass in the scorching heat. The Lord saw their deeds, and His wrath burned against them, for He was a consuming fire to all who practiced evil.

Yet for the righteous, there was unspeakable joy. They planted their feet on solid ground, their hearts steadfast in the ways of the Lord. The morning sun brought gladness, and the evening stars whispered of His faithfulness. They remembered His covenant, His promises that never failed, and they lifted their hands in worship, exalting His holy name above all else.

For the Lord reigned supreme, robed in majesty and girded with strength. The earth itself declared His glory, and the heavens proclaimed His righteousness. All who trusted in Him would never be put to shame, for He guarded the lives of His faithful ones, delivering them from the hand of the wicked.

And so the people sang:
*”The Lord reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the distant shores be glad!*
*Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.*
*Fire goes before Him and burns up His foes on every side.*
*His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles.*
*The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.*
*The heavens proclaim His righteousness, and all peoples see His glory.”*

And the righteous lifted their voices in one accord, for they knew—the Lord was King, and His dominion would endure forever.
