Jehovah’s Judgement and Redemption: A Tale of Egypt, Assyria, and Israel

Once upon a time, the burden of Egypt lay heavily upon the land. The people lived in the shadow of their idols, worshipping false gods and rejecting the one true God, Jehovah. The Lord, mighty and vengeful, took notice of the Egyptians’ waywardness, and vowed to reclaim his authority.

One day, Jehovah rode upon a swift cloud, coming unto Egypt in all His glory. The idols of Egypt, powerless before Him, trembled and the hearts of the Egypt people began to melt, their courage and defiance disintegrating. The Egyptian brother fought against his brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. The spirit of Egypt began to fail, and their wisdom and counsel fell into ruin.

As the chaos engulfed the once great kingdom of Egypt, a cruel lord and fierce king, chosen by Jehovah, took control of the land. In his rule, the waters of the sea failed, the Nile became wasted and dry, the rivers turned foul and their meadows, once lush with vegetation, became dry and lifeless.

The land once teaming with life began to crumble. The fishers mourned as the Nile no longer provided, and those that worked in flax and weaved white cloth were left confounded, their livelihood snatched away from them. The once mighty pillars of Egypt were broken and the hire workers were left grieved of soul.

The prominent and wise princes of Zoan, Pharaoh’s counsellors, fell victim to their own foolishness. Their guidance, once sought after by the Pharaoh, led the kingdom astray. Pharaoh was fed lies, those who were the cornerstones of her tribes had been deceived.

Jehovah put a spirit of perverseness amidst them; confusion and chaos reigned. Egypt, once a symbol of prosperity and strength, now stumbled like a drunken man in his vomit. The Egyptians trembled and were in fear due to the severity of Jehovah’s judgement.

On the dreadful day, the land of Judah, under Jehovah’s protection and guidance, became the murmur of terror to Egypt. Cities in Egypt, now humble, began speaking the language of Canaan, acknowledging and where reverence was paid to Jehovah.

In that day, an altar was erected to Jehovah in the heart of Egypt as a sign and witness to His justice and power. When cries of despair due to oppression echoed the land, Jehovah, in His infinite mercy, sent forth a savior, a defender, and delivered His wayward people.

Jehovah was made known to Egypt that day, and they came to recognize Him as their Lord. They began to worship Him, offering sacrifices and solemn vows which they performed with the utmost obedience. Jehovah, despite the smiting, began to heal Egypt.

In that grand day, a highway was built out of Egypt leading to Assyria. The Egyptians wandered into Assyria just as the Assyrians ventured into Egypt, and they worshipped Jehovah together. Israel, too, joined Egypt and Assyria, forming a blessed bond in the heart of the Earth.

This bond, this unity was sanctioned by Jehovah who blessed them all, stating, “Blessed be Egypt, my people; blessed be Assyria, the work of my hands, and blessed be Israel, mine inheritance.”

And so, amidst trials and tribulations, the people of Egypt, Assyria, and Israel found their salvation and returned to the path of righteousness – all beneath the merciful and watchful eyes of Jehovah, their Lord. They had been led astray, yet they found redemption, their dark tale turning into a story of enlightenment, obedience, and worship.
